Dear Rutgers Football Letterwinner:
Whether the Rutgers helmet you wore was from 1925 or 2005, the bond you share is unmistakable. You have more teammates now than you ever had before. Some of them are still wearing the Rutgers helmet. Soon they too will join you on the sideline as a source of inspiration for another generation of teammates.
It is important to me that the Rutgers football family stays together. The Football Letterwinners Association helps make such an opportunity possible and I’d like you to become a part of this organization. You are an important part of Rutgers football. Make certain that the young men on the field today feel proud to put on the Rutgers uniform. Serve as a source of inspiration for them – on the field and off – by maintaining a role in this program.
